You walk through holes in the wall while a robot insults you.

Some dude gets in a car accident and loses his daughter ‘cause he can’t dive for shit. Then there’s monsters or whatever.

you play some asshole that works for more assholes to stop some assholes from wiping out all the asshole races by making all the other assholes work together through diplomacy and shooting things and screwing assholes on your spaceship

you swallow a fuckin bug while you sleep (eww shit) and then clean up black slime with the power of reading.

you’re some lazy fuck kid and your best friend gives you a stupid flute thing after you go kill some spiders in a dead tree. everyone and everything seems to really want to teach you lame ditties for your stupid flute. a blonde chick decides in a moment of despair that the best thing to do is to give you another stupid flute. you pull a thing out a rock and turn into some lazy fuck teenager and even in the future all anyone wants to do is teach you fucking songs even though the world is ending. somehow it fixes everything though.

You’re this angsty blonde asshole who is obviously rubbing his feet on carpets or some shit or maybe he’s half palm tree I don’t know but he’s all angsty and shit and basically living the life of his dead best friend who was way cooler than him but was half hedgehog because the fuck how much hair gel do these people go through anyway something about saving the planet with an Angry-Black-Guy trying to lead some black power movement or save the planet movement against some conglomerate I don’t know one of those and this chick who acts all angelic but obviously wants the D and this other big boobed chick who also wants the D but has been denying it to you since you were kids oh and this cat that’s on fire and this vampire with anger management problems and an old drunk and cat riding another fat mentally challenged cat blah blah blah save the world against some dick with mommy issues and a bunch of clones. in the end you all die so it doesn’t really matter.

You play a whiny, show-offy brat who’s like a fish out of water, leading a group of more interesting people to the end of the world before you realize he isn’t even real.

(Okay… didn’t sound as crappy as I hoped but it counts)

Ironically enough, Fred’s death probably hit the Potter fans harder than Sirius, or Dumbledore, or Lupin’s deaths. Fred had an adoring family and an extremely close bond to his twin brother. While Sirius had the Black family and Dumbledore had his brother they weren’t necessarily close and the person closest to Lupin in his life died with him. I remember reading that and I was tearing up. The whole clock hand add adds a new shade onto the brilliance of the writing.
